De Lima: Issue on Cunanan's SALN a demolition job

MANILA, Philippines - Justice Secretary Leila de Lima on Friday said the report on Technology Resource Center (TRC) Director General Dennis Cunanan's inaccurate Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) is a demolition job.

Cunanan, who was accorded a provisional coverage under the government's Witness Protection Program, allegedly did not include in his SALN a house in a plush subdivision in Quezon City.

De Lima said a few days after Cunanan's admission to the protection program, his lawyer said some individuals were taking video footage outside his house. This led them to believe that a demolition job against Cunanan will surface.

De Lima said the credibility of other whistleblowers Benhur Luy and Ruby Tuason are also being demolished.

She said she is not ruling out the possibility that there are special forces deliberately trying to undermine the ongoing pork barrel scam probe.
