SM housing for Yolanda survivors gets boost from ad agency

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - DraftFCB Worldwide, along with its subsidiary DraftFCB Philippines, has pooled its resources to support the SM Cares Housing Project for Yolanda survivors. Raising more than half a million pesos, the donation from the global network agency is good for building three houses out of the 200 committed by SM Cares. For its part, SM has put in P50 million as seed money while the rest is intended to be filled by individuals, groups, private and public organizations who wish to extend help to Yolanda survivors by providing shelter. The target areas that will benefit from the project include barangays in Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, Antique and Samar. SM Cares is the CSR arm of SM Supermalls tasked to act as catalyst for change for the communities that SM malls serve.
