MANILA, Philippines - It will be a rainy Christmas eve in the Bicol Region and Quezon Province, the state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric , Geophysical &. Astronomical Services Administration said on Tuesday.
"Bicol Region and Quezon Provinces will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides," PAGASA said in its 5 a.m. weather forecast.
It added that a trough of low pressure area is affecting Mindanao, while northeast monsoon is affecting northern Luzon.
Meanwhile, Mimaropa, Davao region, Caraga, Northeast Mindanao, Visayas and the province of Aurora will have cloudy skies with light to moderate thunderstorms.
Cloudy skies with light rains will prevail over Cagayan Valley, Ilocos and Cordillera.
"Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, "PAGASA added.
