MANILA, Philippines - A tricycle driver from Batangas who won the P126.3-million jackpot of the 6/49 Super Lotto draw last week claimed his prize at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) headquarters on Monday.
PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II yesterday said the lone winner of the Super Lotto’s Dec. 12 draw placed a P100 bet. He is 59, married with three children.
Rojas said the winner has been a lotto bettor since 1995 and has maintained the winning number combination of 12-8-37-17-20-9.
The numbers are based on the birth dates of his family members.
The lucky bet was placed at a lotto terminal in Lipa City, Batangas, the PCSO said.
Rojas said the new millionaire plans to buy a house and lot, invest in a transportation-related business, and share some of his winnings with his relatives.
