SC suspends work in courts in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday suspended work in judiciary offices in Manila due to the anniversary celebration of the Jesus Is Lord Movement.

The high court suspended operations of the Court of Appeals and local courts in the city starting 2:30 p.m.

Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez said the SC sent all court employees in the city to avoid being stranded due to the celebration of the religious group in Luneta.
