5.1-magnitude quake hits Samar - USGS

HONG KONG (Xinhua) - An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted 42 km ESE of Bobon, Northern Samar at 02: 03:08 GMT today, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 179.45 km, was initially determined to be at 6.718 degrees north latitude and 126.6804 degrees east longitude.
