Phl launches 'Embassy on Wheels' in Saudi

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh will conduct an “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) consular outreach mission for Filipino nationals in Hafr Al Batin on June 13 to 14 at Ramada Hotel.

The services to be offered during the two-day EOW will be passport renewals, notarials and authentication of documents, birth registrations, and consular certifications.

Regular passport renewal applicants should obtain an appointment schedule through the Embassy’s website,  www.philembassy-riyadh.org.  Applicants are advised to bring their original passports and photocopy of the data page of the passport.

Applicants for other consular services do not need an appointment and are also advised to bring the original and photocopy of the documents.

In addition, the EOW Team will also process Travel Documents, passport renewal/extensions and lost passports for irregular Filipino workers who are covered by the ongoing 'nitaqat' grace period of the Saudi government.

Filipino workers with an irregular status who are applying for travel documents must bring a photocopy of their last passport or any Philippine ID. Those applying for lost passport services must bring a copy of the passport that was lost, or at least be prepared to present the passport number.

The EOW will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 13 (Thursday) and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 14 (Friday).
