Team PNoy to focus on vote-rich provinces

MANILA, Philippines - The Team PNoy senatorial ticket will focus on vote-rich provinces in the final stage of the campaign.

Team PNoy candidate Aurora Rep. Juan Edgardo Angara said the administration coalition will revisit Pangasinan, Cebu, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Central Luzon, Metro Manila and other parts of Western and Central Visayas this week.

For his part, Angara said he will double his efforts to maintain his good survey ranking (8th to 12th places) and keep his message to the people clear. He also said no one should be in a celebratory mode until the election results are known.

“We are not celebrating. I saw my teammates on stage. They didn’t look celebratory. Definitely, it’s too early to celebrate with only a week left because things can still change,” he added. “The end game is very important in politics. You have to finish strong.”

Angara also said there was nothing wrong with candidates being endorsed by showbiz celebrities.
