Tingting: The Cojuangcos still support Noy

MANILA, Philippines - Presidential aunt and senatorial candidate Tingting Cojuangco said yesterday that the Cojuangco clan would continue to support President Aquino.

Tingting said the Cojuangcos remain supportive of Aquino despite her senatorial bid with the opposition United Nationalist Alliance (UNA). She admitted though that her family is not close to Aquino.

She recalled that in the early part of Aquino’s term, his spokesman, Edwin Lacierda, announced that she would not get any position in the government.
