Jessica Sanchez in Manila for V-Day concert
MANILA, Philippines - American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez is in Manila for her first major solo concert in the country, slated on Valentine’s Day at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Jessica, accompanied by her mother Edita, arrived at 6 a.m. yesterday on board PAL flight PR103 from Los Angeles, California.
Aside from her mother, Jessica was with her 7-man entourage including fellow AI runner-up Colton Dixon, the guest performer for her “Sanchez Live In Concert!†sponsored by Smart Communications.
“Great to be back, hello to my fans and see you at the concert,†said Jessica, who waited for an hour at the immigration arrival office for their luggage.
She was in Manila for the first time last September to fulfill a series of commitments, and performed in a concert with fellow AI winners.
Fans waited at the arrival area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 as early as 4 a.m. to catch a glimpse of their idol.
