MANILA, Philippines - Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper arrived in the country last night for a two-day visit aimed at expanding bilateral trade and investments between the two countries, particularly in mining.
Harper is the highest Canadian official to visit the country since 1997 when then Prime Minister Jean Chretien flew in with a large business delegation.
