Grand Lotto pot soars to P129 M
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday that the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto online lottery draw is expected to hit P129 million for tonight’s draw after nobody won the winning combination last Monday.
PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said no player got the six-digit winning number combination 12-05-34-06-26-34 with a jackpot of P121,365,061.20 but 11 bettors won the second prize of P150,000 each after they picked five numbers of the six-digit combination.
He said sales of the Grand Lotto draw have also increased from the average of P25 million in the earlier draws to P45 million last Monday.
This is the fourth time since January that the jackpot of the Grand Lotto game has breached P100 million.
Rojas advised the players to buy their tickets early to avoid the rush and the long lines of bettors in lotto terminals nationwide.
