Jinggoy discloses QC address in his SALN

Manila, Philippines -  Despite being a former mayor of San Juan City, his family’s bailiwick, Senate President Pro-Tempore Jinggoy Estrada and his wife Presentation live in a P47.4-million house and lot at Cameron Road in Corinthian Hills in Quezon City.

Jinggoy’s statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) filed with the office of the Senate secretariat, a copy of which The STAR had obtained, showed his net worth at P166,727,581.91.

Jinggoy’s net worth increased by P73.167 million from P93.56 million that he declared in his SALN last year.

Jinggoy listed as part of his real properties six condominium units in One Beverly Place (acquisition cost P2.988 million), Atlanta Centre (P460,240), Legran Condo (P531,740), Quadrillon Mansion (P552,960), and Garden Island (P2.210 million).

Jinggoy indicated that he purchased the lot in Corinthian Hills for P17,410,909.09 and the house’s construction cost was pegged at P30,045,454.55.

The SALN did not reflect the year when Jinggoy acquired the property.

Jinggoy also included in his real properties a P4.524-million lot in Loyola Grand Villas in Quezon City, a townhouse (lot) in Quezon City worth P2 million; a lot acquired for P8 million and a farm lot in Lipa City worth P5 million.

No dates were specified when these properties were acquired.

Jinggoy’s real properties totaled P74,827,840, while his personal and other properties amounted to P115,477,691.27.

Jinggoy’s personal and other properties are divided into P10.258 million in cash on hand/bank; P1.267 million in jewelry; motor vehicles totaling P8.274 million; furniture and fixtures, P3.372 million and investments amounting to P92.304 million.

Jinggoy’s SALN reflected a liability of P23,377,950,00 in “loans payable.”

Jinggoy is the sixth senator to make public his SALN, after Manuel Villar Jr., Antonio Trillanes, Francis Escudero, Panfilo Lacson, and Teofisto Guingona III.

Guingona’s net worth was pegged at P82.520 million.

In his latest SALN, Guingona had to outline in separate pages his real estate properties/land and buildings, which account for P29,516 million of his assets.

Guingona also detailed properties/lands in Villa Lina in Bataan; General Santos City; Cagayan de Oro City; Sta. Rosa, Laguna; Baguio City; Antipolo, Pasay City and Quezon City.

The properties were acquired between 1989 and 2003.
