'Expect cloudy weather today'

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) yesterday said the weather is expected to be cloudy, with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

In its 5 a.m. weather forecast yesterday, PAGSA said that there is a prevailing ridge of high-pressure area, which extends across Luzon.

The entire country is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies at times, with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, mostly over the eastern sections.

There will be light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast over Luzon, while the rest of the country, will have winds coming from the east to northeast.

Meanwhile, coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
