Family of 4 massacred in Quezon

MANILA, Philippines - Four people, including two children aged 6 and 11, were found dead with multiple hack wounds inside their house in Lopez, Quezon yesterday.

Police identified the victims as Teresita Osana, 60; Victoria Osana, 40; Kim Cyrill, 11, and Jerick, 6.

Senior Superintendent Ericson Velasquez, Quezon provincial police director, said the identity of the killer and motive were unknown.

He told The STAR that the victims were found inside their house in Barangay Ilaya.

“The victims were presumably hacked in their sleep,” he said. “There was no sign of struggle inside the house. The investigation is ongoing.”
