The awarding was attended by Maj. Gen. Rustico Guerrero, commandant of the Philippine Marines and former Cabinet secretaries and ASK Foundation Board of Trustees Peter Favila and Cesar Sarino.
In a short message, Guerrero said the members of the Philippine Marine Corps are honored that Binay chose to celebrate his birthday with them.
“We hope you will continue to help the needy Filipinos, including the men in uniform like us. We also want to express our heartfelt thanks for your services to the Marines, especially the families of those who were killed in action,” Guerrero said.
