No winner yet of P166 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reported yesterday that nobody won the more than P166-million jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto online lottery draw last Monday night.

PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said Grand Lotto winning number combination 2-1-15-24-36-8 had a total jackpot of P166,337,866.80.       

He said the jackpot for the Grand Lotto draw today is expected to be more than P170 million, the biggest lotto jackpot so far this year.

Rojas said although nobody got the winning combination for the Grand Lotto, 38 players won the second prize of P150,000 each after they picked five digits of the six-number winning combination.

A 46-year-old female operator of a printing press in Manila claimed yesterday the P46,308,360.40 jackpot of the 6/49 Super Lotto draw last Thursday night.

The winner, who bought the winning ticket at a lotto outlet along Tuazon Street in Sampaloc, Manila, went to the PCSO central office at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City and claimed the jackpot for the winning combination 8-9-45-43-23-18.

The lotto winner, who is still single, has been playing lotto since 1995 and will place her winnings in a bank while looking for possible investment opportunities.
