2-3 M players maintain lotto numbers - PCSO
MANILA, Philippines - A Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) computer expert disclosed yesterday that at least two-to-three million local players are maintaining specific number combinations in hopes of winning the jackpot.
The PCSO official, who requested anonymity, said based on his study, the past winners of the jackpot – particularly the 6/45 Mega Lotto games – used their own number combinations.
“The odds of the 6/45 draw are lower and with the millions religiously maintaining certain combinations it’s remote to hit the jackpot,” he said.
Most of the winners who claimed the jackpot used number combinations that represent the birth dates of relatives and other significant dates like death or wedding anniversaries. PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas said a driver claimed yesterday the P23,585,160.60 jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw recently.
