11 join lotto millionaires club
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reported yesterday that 11 players of their online lottery have won jackpots ranging from over P1 million to P61 million during the first month of the year.
Manny Garcia, PCSO publicity and advertising manager, said the first winner was a bettor from Pasay City who won P61.31 million in the 6/49 Super Lotto last Jan. 4.
The next day, a player bagged the P11.5-million jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto draw and another lucky bettor got the P47-million jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto draw.
Six bettors shared the P4,955,526 jackpot of the Mega Lotto draw last Jan. 9, another winner got P16 million from the Super Lotto draw on Jan. 7 and another winner got the P7.8-million prize of the Mega Lotto last Jan. 12.
Three winners shared the P7.8-million prize of the Mega Lotto draw last Jan. 14
A lone winner got the P35.4-million jackpot for the Super Lotto draw on Jan. 22 while on Jan. 25, a player got the 6/42 lotto draw and won P3.46 million.
Among the winners who claimed their prizes was a 58-year-old employee of a printing press who picked a number combination from an old newspaper in his workplace.
