Classes at all levels resume today
MANILA, Philippines - Classes will resume today in public schools nationwide after the long weekend.
Private schools – including De La Salle University-Zobel, Ateneo de Manila University’s grade school and high school, and Claret School of Quezon City – will resume classes tomorrow.
De La Salle University-Taft will resume classes today while the college department of Ateneo de Manila will resume classes on Nov. 8. The University of Santo Tomas will resume classes at all levels on November 10.
Education Secretary Armin Luistro expressed confidence that school administrators and teachers are all set to resume classes after the long break.
“I welcome back our students and teachers to the second half of the school year,” he said. “I am confident that the time spent with your loved ones – both living and deceased – has given you all even more reason to make the best of the remaining five months of the school year.”
