Jackpot prizes in 2 lotto games elusive
MANILA, Philippines - The jackpot for the 6/55 Grand Lotto, one of the online lottery draws of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), has reached more than P200 million while another lotto game’s prize reached more than P100 million, as both pots remained elusive.
Nobody won the P236,691,122 jackpot of the Grand Lotto draw last Saturday night nor the P121,208,572 for the Super Lotto draw last Sunday night.
The PCSO website reported that the winning combination for the last Grand Lotto draw was 02-51-21-40-28-36 while the 6/49 draw had the winning combination of 34-01-49-03-31-19.
The Grand Lotto was launched last April and replaced the Power Lotto draw to raise more funds, following an increase in the requests for medical assistance from indigent patients from PCSO.
The new game targets bettors from all social status, different from the Power Lotto, which targets the Class A and B bettors.
The 6/49 Super Lotto remains the PCSO’s most popular game.
It registered the biggest jackpot in history at a whopping P347 million in February 2009.
