Cebu Pacific flight attendants dance while giving out safety tips

MANILA, Philippines - Passengers on board a Cebu Pacific flight from Manila to Butuan City last Thursday got an added treat of watching flight attendants dancing to the tune of Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” as they reminded passengers about safety tips while on board.

Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog said Cebu Pacific has always been known as a fun airline, trying to do its best to entertain passengers.

“This is just another way to bring out our fun culture and showcase our homegrown talents, too” Iyog said. “We plan to roll this out onto more flights depending on the response of the public.”

She stressed, however, that it was just a test demonstration done at cruising altitude.

“We do not compromise safety in anything we do and it will remain our primary concern. We just really know how to have fun,” Iyog said, adding that the dancing demo received very positive reactions from passengers.
