MSU-Marawi graduate tops agriculturists' board exam
MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reported yesterday that a graduate of Mindanao State University (MSU) in Marawi City topped the licensure examination for agriculturists.
PRC said Josephine Aguanta scored 87.50 percent and led the 972 agriculturists who passed the licensure examination held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
Ernest Andrei Mascariñas of the University of Southeastern Philippines-Tagum placed second with a grade of 87 percent, followed by Don Johnson Neri, of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños, in third place with a score of 86.33 percent.
Mark Edward Fabreag of UP-Los Baños was in fourth place while three examinees – Alex John Galicia of UPLB, Angelito Paguio Jr. of the University of Southern Mindanao-Kabacan, and Arlan James Rodeo of UPLB – placed fifth.
Jelord Sumaya of University of Southern Mindanao-Kabacan captured the sixth spot with a grade of 85.67 percent, while Central Mindanao University graduate Junrey Amas and Visayas State University graduate Allan Ramal took the 7th slot with the same score of 85.50 percent.
Paula Camille Perez, of UPLB came in 8th with a score of 85.33 percent, followed by Vincent Beirn Dayao of Central Mindanao University in ninth place with a score of 85.17 percent.
Completing the top 10 were Maria Victoria Bascon of UPLB and Mary Joy Canolas of the University of Southern Mindanao with a grade of 85 percent.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be from Aug. 4 until Aug. 20. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oath taking ceremonies for the successful examinees in the examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their oath would be held on Aug. 30 at the Manila Hotel.
