No blackout today

MANILA, Philippines - Meralco said yesterday that customers can expect blackout-free day today as bank Nos. 3 and 4 of Dolores substation, owned and operated by the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines, have already been energized.

Meralco crew helped the NGCP in the evaluation and restoration works. Bank No. 3 was the first to cut in last Oct. 9, while bank No. 4 was energized just before midnight.
