Super Lotto jackpot set to breach P100-million mark

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday that the jackpot of the 6/49 Super Lotto online lottery draw tomorrow is expected to breach the P100-million mark since nobody won the top prize last Thursday.

Conrado Zabella, PCSO assistant general manager for online operations, said no one got the winning combination 03-46-24-15-26-16 for the draw last Thursday night that had a jackpot of P92,663,518.60.

Zabella said the conservative estimate for Sunday’s jackpot is at least P100 million.

This will be the third time since January that the jackpot prize of the Super Lotto reached more than P100 million.

The Super Lotto generated the biggest lotto jackpot of P340 million last February, which was shared by two lucky winners from Pasig and Caloocan City.

The second biggest lotto jackpot was won by a 61-year-old construction worker from Novaliches, Quezon City who took the P249 million prize in August last year. – Perseus Echeminada
