Super Lotto jackpot rises to P82 million

MANILA, Philippines - The jackpot prize of the 6/49 Super Lotto game of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) is expected to reach the P82-million mark tonight after no one won the winning combination of 27-30-24-23-39-26 in last Sunday’s draw, a PCSO official said yesterday.

Conrado Zabella, assistant general manager for online lotto operations, said the winning combination during the last draw carried a pot of P75,649,546.80.

“Our conservative estimate is that the prize will reach P82 million or more,” he said.

Zabella said they expect the prize to breach P100 million if nobody hits the winning six-digit combination in tonight’s draw.

The Super Lotto, which has become the most popular betting game, is now drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. A six-digit combination costs P20.

The jackpot Power Lotto game where a player pays P50 for a single ticket has also risen to P68 million after nobody won the winning combination last Saturday. – Perseus Echeminada
