Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Oscar Calderon announced yesterday that a reshuffle of police officers will be implemented next week to fill a sensitive post with the retirement of one of the concurrent chiefs on May 22.
“The reshuffle is part of the regular movement in the organization as a result of the retirement of officials who have reached the mandatory retirement age of 56,” Calderon added.
Calderon said Director Alejandro Lapinid, head of the Directorate for Intelligence, will be replaced by Director Servando Hizon, the current PNP Director for Human Resource and Doctrine Development. – Cecille Suerte Felipe
