No Pinoy casualty in Israel bombing

No Filipino was hurt or killed in a suicide bombing at a southern tourist resort in Israel last Monday, an embassy report said yesterday.
A Filipino coordinator in Eilat reported to the diplomatic mission and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) that there were no casualties following Mondays attack, which according to Israeli media, was perpetrated by two Palestinian groups, the Islamic Jihad and the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah faction of the Palestinian Authority.
Embassy Charge dAffaires Gilberto Asuque mentioned this in his report, and said that the Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat had no information of any foreign nationals being among the victims rushed to them for treatment. Pia Lee-Brago
