-
A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted General Santos City yesterday morning but caused no damage and casualties, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Phivolcs said the tectonic quake occurred at 8:47 a.m. with its epicenter located 146 kilometers west of General Santos City.

The tremor was caused by a movement at the Cotabato Trench, Phivolcs said.

It was felt at Intensity 1 in General Santos.
