AFP ready to augment police security on All Saints’ Day

The Armed Forces offered yesterday to augment police units, if necessary, to provide security near cemeteries during the observance of All Saints’ Day on Wednesday.

Lt. Col. Bartolome Bacarro, AFP public information office chief, said the military, particularly the National Capital Regional Command headed by Marine Brig. Gen. Ben Mohammad Dolorfino, has prepared a contingency plan to support the police during the event.

Bacarro said aside from Metro Manila, other AFP units in the field have their own contingency measures prepared for any eventuality during the observance of All Saints’ Day.

- James Mananghaya
