3 killed in road mishap

Mataas Na Kahoy, Batangas - Three persons were killed while 19 injured when a passenger jeepney lost control and plunged into a ravine here this morning , police said.

Local police chief Supt. Romulo Endaya identified the victims as Renato Gonzales, Anacleta Jarro and Linda Acar of Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Reports said it was around 10:30 a.m. when the jeepney driver lost control of the wheel while traveling in Barangay Lumang Lipa here and fell into a 10-meter deep ravine. — Arnell Ozaeta
