PCIJ launches political info website

No more secrets.

The Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism has relaunched i-site.ph, a unique portal containing information on Philippine politics and government.

The website also posts profiles of a wide range of officials, including those in national environment and legislative positions as well as local government executives.

i-site
provides the public a one-stop site for learning about the electoral process and the candidates for key local and national positions, including party-list contenders. The profiles show who the candidates are, what they intend to do if they get elected, and, for those who are incumbent or have previously sat in government, what they have done in office.

All this information is collected in the most exhaustive databases and shown in user-friendly downloadable format. Anyone who uses the site is guided by simple menus that make navigating easier. The site is regularly updated to include even more data.

i-site
is powered by the PCIJ, an independent media organization specializing in investigative reporting set up in 1989. For more information, check out www.i-site-ph or email pcij@pcij.org. Tel. 410-4768/69.
