Notorious kidnapper nabbed in Batangas

Operatives of the National Anti-Kidnapping Task Force (NAKTF) and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested one of the most wanted kidnappers in the country in Batangas over the weekend.
Sources from the CIDG headquarters at Camp Crame said suspected kidnapper Ronnie Tan was arrested by the police during operations in the town of Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Friday night.
There was a P500,00 bounty on Tans head and he is on the new NAKTF wanted list. He will be presented to President Arroyo during a press conference today by NAKTF chief Angelo Reyes.
Tan was arrested on the strength of a warrant issued by a local court and he faces charges for the kidnapping of a Filipino-Chinese victim in September 2001. Christina Mendez
