1,075 pass CPA board exams

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday that 1,075 out of 5,557 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy.
The results were released in one day after the last day of examination.
Registration for the issuance of professional identification card and certificate of registration will start on May 28 until June 6.
Those who will register are required to bring their latest community tax certificate; 2 passport size pictures, one 1 x 1 picture, metered documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope; and pay the registration fee ofP400 and annual fee of P300 for 2003-2006.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their oath will be held before the board on June 23 at 1 p.m. at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center.

Sobremonte, 89.57; 6. Ronan Joseph C. Isla, 89.43; Alejandro A. Palacio, 89.43; 7. Nonito I. Esteban, 89.29; Sheela C. Go, 89.29; 8. Sheryl A. Lopez, 89.14; Abigael P. Tan, 89.14; 9. Alexis Benjamin C. Zaragoza Iii , 88.86; 10. Albert U. Balisi, 88.71; Marie Stephanie C. Tan, 88.71.
