Laya gives talk on BSP paintings

Former Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) governor Jaime C. Laya will deliver a talk on the BSP painting collection on Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. at the ground floor of the Metropolitan Museum of Manila, Central Bank Complex, Roxas Boulevard.
The presentation promises to be extraordinary as it will be conducted hand in hand with the temporary exhibit of highlights from the BSP collection now being held at the museum. Laya will deliver his lecture surrounded by many of the very works he discusses and that he himself acquired for the BSP.
Jointly sponsored by the National Museum, National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Museum Foundation of the Philippines, admission fees include a free tour of the exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila. Call 819-0046, 813-0771 or 842-03 29 for further information.
