Expected to be the biggest party the country will see since the new millennium fetes, it will present the much-awaited youth-oriented pop-culture magazines edited by Ginggay Joven. Some of the hours hottest spots for the young have been chosen as venues: Sanctum in Intramuros, Po Na Na in Libis, Cebus new nightlife strip The Village, and the Glorietta 4 Park of the Ayala Center in Makati.
Directed by Runway Productions Joey Espino, the launch will also be unveiling the latest collections from the young fashion label Oxygen to be worn by more than 200 models.
And will have performances by Cynthia Alexander (at Intramuros), DJ Manolet Dario (at Po Na Na), and Moonstar 88 (in Glorietta). A spin-off of The Philippine STARs Friday Lifestyle outings, Young Star, which also hits the stores on Sept. 7, is published by Stargates Choy Cojuangco, and is geared to be a highly-stylized, glossy and intelligent guide to readers belonging to the 16 to 25 age bracket.
