Did a P2.7-million, (270,000 Saudi Riyals) lottery prize cost the life of a Filipino worker in Saudi Arabia?
This question cropped up after Jaime dela Cruz, a laundryman at the Al Hada Armed Forces Hospital in Taif, was found murdered in his quarters on Jan. 6, the day he collected the money he won from an underground lottery.
A report at the Department of Foreign Affairs showed the lifeless body of Dela Cruz was seated on a chair, clean and well-dressed.
