Robert Downey Jr. stars in drama film 'The Judge'

MANILA, Philippines- See Robert Downey Jr. in a different light as he stars in the drama film “The Judge.”

He plays the role of Hank Palmer, a big city lawyer who got a call to represent an unlikely client- his estranged father ( Robert Duvall) who is a judge. His dad being accused of committing murder, Hank embarks on a  search for the truth and ends up reconnecting with his family whom he turned his  back to before.

Also starring in the film are Vera Farmiga, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jeremy Strong, Dax Shephard, Billy Bob Thornton, Melissa Leo, Leighton Meester, Ken Howard, Emma Tremblay, Balthazar Getty, David Krumholtz, Sarah Lancaster, Grace Zabriskie and Denis O’Hare.

“The Judge” is directed by  David Dobkin and will be in Philippine cinema on October 22.
