Max Charles lends voice to Sherman in animated film ‘Mr. Peabody & Sherman’

MANILA, Philippines- Max Charles lends his voice to Sherman of upcoming 3D-animated film “Mr. Peabody & Sherman.”

Charles, who played the role of young Peter in “Amazing Spiderman” was admired by the film’s director Rob Minkoff saying, “Max performs with emotion, depth, heart and humor.  That’s not easy to find in a young actor.”

“Mr. Peabody & Sherman” is a story about Mr. Peabody who adopted a boy named Sherman. But with his limited knowledge with parenthood, Mr. Peabody struggles in developing his relationship with Sherman.

Yet there’s one thing they love—adventure. With Peabody’s capability to time travel ad possessing the knowledge and talents of history’s bests Einstein, Oscar Wilde, Indiana Jones, Sherlock Holmes, James Bond and Mario Batali, it is surely one big adventure.

“Sherman is a normal kid who gets to do some unusual stuff, like travel back in time,” Charles said describing his character. “Peabody also learns a lot from Sherman, like how to be a little more laid back, and a little more trusting.”

“Mr. Peabody & Sherman” will be in 2D and 3D format, in cinemas on March 6.
