More monsoon rains in west Luzon – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon will continue to bring scattered rains in the western section of Luzon covering the Ilocos Region, Zambales and Bataan, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan), Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Lanao del Norte, Cavite, Batangas, Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA is not monitoring any low-pressure area in the next 24 hours.
