MANILA, Philippines — A possible collaboration between Dolly de Leon and Manny Jacinto may be on the rise after two briefly met during the latter's return to the Philippines.

The Filipino-Canadian Manny was back in the country, having been born in Manila, for the Philippine premiere of his latest movie "Freakier Friday" with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The actor best known for starring in the shows "The Good Place" and "The Acolyte" attended a fan event and a couple of screenings for the film, meeting up with several Filipino fans.

One fan he met with last August 6, when "Freakier Friday" was widely released in the Philippines, was award-winning actress Dolly de Leon.

The actors were ecstatic to meet each other, exchanging pleasantries and assurances of support. Dolly even introduced her children who had accompanied her.

During their brief interaction, Dolly and Manny touched on the possibility of working together in the future, a prospect not too far off given Dolly's rise since turns in "Triangle of Sadness" and "Nine Perfect Strangers."

Dolly already has two Hollywood projects lined up: the last two seasons of Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and more recently announced "Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed" with Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson.

Manny, meanwhile, will next be seen in the films "Love Language" and "Stalemate," both currently in production.
