Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards were spotted hugging each other after the star-studded premiere of their highly anticipated reunion film, “Hello, Love, Again.”

The sequel to their 2019 blockbuster “Hello, Love, Goodbye” is expected to shake up Philippine box-office with its release in 500 cinemas nationwide, with exclusive midnight screenings scheduled in 72 selected theaters, according to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP).

Adding to its momentum, it was previously announced that “Hello, Love, Again” has been selected as the closing film for this year’s Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) in Los Angeles, California, which runs until Nov. 20.

“Hello, Love, Again” picks up five years after the events of the first film, following the journey of Joy (Kathryn) and Ethan (Alden), who initially connected as overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong.

The new installment will explore the challenges and changes in their relationship as Joy pursues her dreams in Canada, giving fans another emotional chapter in the KathDen saga.

During the premiere night of “Hello, Love, Again” held on Tuesday night at Megamall, the onscreen partners, accompanied by the co-actors, also addressed their loved ones, mentors and fans in heartfelt messages.

Alden expressed hope that audiences will enjoy reconnecting with the film’s characters and find themselves falling in love with them once again.

Sobra po kaming overwhelmed sa support na binibigay n’yo and we all did our part,” the Kapamilya star said.

“Ang maipapangako lang namin sa inyo, sa pelikulang ‘to, puso (‘yung) binigay namin. So I hope after watching this film, ‘yun ‘yung maramdaman n’yo,” she added.
