MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Alexa Ilacad doesn't see herself becoming a mother in the near future.
At the recent press conference of her upcoming movie "Mujigae," Alexa also showed support for women who feel the same as she does.
“I get it! I totally get it. And that’s okay. I think now, we’re more open to living our lives the way we want to live without fear of judgment from other people," Alexa said.
“You don’t have to pressure yourself to do a certain thing because it’s what society wants from you. It’s you who will suffer in the end,” she added.
Alexa will be playing alongside Korean star Kim Ji-soo in the movie "Mujigae."
“When I saw Ji-soo for the first time, he’s so tall. I think he is six (feet) something and I am so small so kapag tinitingnan ko siya nakatingala ako talaga and I didn’t know if he spoke English, so I was afraid that there was gonna be a language barrier, something like that,” she said.
“He looks really serious, like game face on. Tapos isinalang agad kami sa isang scene, parang workshop so I have to break the ice.
“But he’s very nice. And slowly but surely, day by day, he started opening to everyone, nakikipagbiruan na siya sa lahat."
Directed by Randolph Longjas and produced by Unitel Straight Shooters Media Inc. (UXS), "Mujigae" will be shown in theaters nationwide on October 9.
