MANILA, Philippines — British actress Sophie Turner broke her silence on her recent separation from singer Joe Jonas, whom she was married to for four years and has two children with.
Turner appeared on the latest cover story for British Vogue magazine where she talked about the days following news of their official split.

"I mean, those were the worst few days of my life," Turner said of rumors that she was a bad mother because she always went to parties.
When news of their separation broke out, Turner said she was contracted to finish shooting her upcoming show "Joan" and could not visit her children in the United States.
When the rumors spread, the actress constantly reminded herself they were not true and that she was "a good mum."

"It's unfathomable the amount of people that will just make s**t up and put it up based on a picture," she continued. "A picture might tell a thousand words, but it's not my story. It felt like I was watching a movie of my life that I hadn't written, hadn't produced, or starred in. It was shocking. I'm still in shock," the actress recalled.
Fortunately, Turner believes she is in a better place now thanks to a support system in her family and the crew on "Joan."
Turner and Jonas filed for divorce last September, announcing in a joint statement they "mutually decided to amicably end our marriage" in what was "truly... a united decision."
Later that month, Turner sued Jonas for "wrongful retention" of their children, but both parties eventually agreed to a co-parenting system.
