MANILA, Philippines — "Lisa Frankenstein" co-stars Liza Soberano and Kathryn Newton celebrated the latter's birthday by visiting Universal Studios Hollywood.
Liza shared on her Instagram account images of her and Kathryn spending the day at the theme park; Kathryn turned 27 last February 8.

"Spent the whole day yesterday with this one. Happy birthday Kathryn," Liza wrote in the caption, accompanied by a pink heart emoji.
The actress even took the opportunity to plug their movie, currently out in cinemas worldwide, to "make the birthday girl happy."
The post included the two actresses visiting the new Super Nintendo World section and their picture outside the Frankenstein Parking area.
Kathryn shared her gratitude in the comments section, "Couldn’t love you more! So grateful for our friendship," she wrote with a white heart emoji.
"Lisa Frankenstein" stars Kathryn as the titular misunderstood teenager who becomes enamored with a Victorian corpse, played by Cole Sprouse, who does her bidding.
Liza stars as Lisa's clueless but well-meaning cheerleader step-sister Taffy. The film's director, Zelda Williams, is the daughter of the late comedian Robin Williams and producer Marsha Garces, whose father hails from Bicol.
