MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Coco Martine gave an update on his upcoming teleserye "FPJ's Batang Quiapo."

In his recent launch as the new ambassador of RiteMed, Coco said they already began filming the series and now finished editing the first episode.

"Tapos na namin 'yung Day 1 na episode. Sobra akong proud, ibang-iba siya sa 'Probinsyano.' Ibang-iba 'yung treatment, 'yung camera works," he said.

Ihanda na natin, in case mapansin tayo or magustuhan nila," he added.

He also said the possibility of casting "Ang Probinsyano" actors in his new series.

Nahihirapan na kami mag-casting," he said.

RiteMed has officially unveiled its new brand ambassador with the launch of its latest TV commercial featuring the well-loved Coco.

Coco graciously accepted the challenge of continuing the legacy and advocacy of the Queen of Philippine Movies, Susan Roces, of empowering the masses in opting for quality and affordable healthcare.

Coco rightfully opened the TVC with the line, “Ang sabi ng lola ko, ‘wag mahihiyang magtanong... at hanapin ang check,” which not only gives honor to Susan but also reminds the people of the Filipino culture of listening to the advice of their elderly loved ones.
