MANILA, Philippines — UNTV 37’s Istorya is two years old. Since its re-launch in 2017, the show has remained faithful to its commitment to tell stories of ordinary people.
In line with the celebration, Angela Lagunzad hosted a thanksgiving lunch held at Bigoli Restaurant in Trinoma, Quezon City.
“My heart is full. I’m grateful for my network and Kuya Daniel Razon’s support,” said Angela.
In Istorya, Angela was able to connect with the viewers by telling inspirational stories as natural and honest as possible.
The show documented a day in the life of Robert Duyugen, one of Ifugao’s wooden scooter racers and champion; Pedro Banayan, the oldest farmer in the famous Banaue Rice Terraces; Rizal, a boy with a cleft palate and an artist with a kind heart; Angelo from Baseco, an eight-year-old boy with tuberculosis of the bone who suffers from hunger and malnutrition; and Eliza Chawi, one of the oldest weavers in Pinsao, Baguio City.
