MANILA, Philippines — International fitness club Anytime Fitness has opened its 100th branch in the country.

It offers a 24-hour access to over 80,000 active members nationwide with a goal to fight the so-called “gym intimidation,” allowing members the freedom to dictate their fitness journey and non-members to eliminate their fear of joining the gym. Apart from the most competitive price range across the industry, Anytime Fitness appeals because of its location with branches often located nearer to communities or within walking distance of most residential and commercial areas.

“I am confident that the Philippine market is more than ready for Anytime Fitness. The number of clubs we have in the country is a testament to the dedication of the Filipino people to health and fitness. They create the need and we are here to heed the call,” said Anytime Fitness Asia CEO Maurice Levine about the brand’s expansion in the local market.

The grand opening at Estancia in Capitol Commons, Pasig City last May 6 was also graced by Anytime Fitness Asia’s executive VP for operations Buddy Mortin, regional agent Ryan Cheal and Asia regional marketing manager Jap Angeles.
