MANILA, Philippines — A sexier Cristine Reyes was seen at her dance number on variety show “ASAP” last Sunday, fueling more speculations that she might have separated from husband Ali Khatibi, a Pilipino Star Ngayon report says.

Last month, reports surfaced that Cristine and Ali’s marriage might be on the rocks as the Kapamilya actress unfollowed her husband on Instagram, but followed him back a few days after.

The couple is also reportedly not anymore posting pictures of them together on Instagram. Cristine last posted a photo of Ali on February 15. The actress was only posting pictures of her with daughter Amarah.

The separation rumors are further fanned as Cristine has been mum on the issue. Late last month, the actress evaded questions about her marriage when she received her Movie Supporting Actress of the Year award from the 49th Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Awards.

Last January, Cristine asked her two million followers on Instagram to pray for their marriage.

Last April, Cristine’s sister, Ara Mina, neither denied nor confirmed the speculations and pointed out that misunderstanding is normal to couples.

Cristine and Ali tied the knot last January 27, 2016 in a very intimate wedding ceremony held at Balesin Island Club in Polillo, Quezon.

In an interview with Philstar.com late last year, Cristine and Ali were enthusiastic about having a second child.

“Second baby? Ako gusto ko na,” Cristine admitted. “We have to wait lang siguro a bit. There are things na siguro we want to do muna. We want to enjoy Amarah. Siguro ‘pag nag-four na sya or maybe three and a half, siguro we will plan for a baby boy,” Ali said.

Ali and Cristine were then widely seen on their Instagram pages posting happy memories with their daughter. During the press conference of their first brand endorsement Simply Shoes by SM last year, the three was a picture of a happy family, as the couple discussed their parenting styles.

“As parents, we were both hands on ‘pag dating kay Amarah. For example, pagpapatulog sa kanya, we read her a bed time story first and then we pray bago matulog, we eat together,” Cristine said.

“We watch movies together as in paulit-ulit, we watched it a million times na. It’s fun though,” Ali shared.

Cristine said being a mother is a very fulfilling job. “I didn’t realize that it’s gonna be this important to me. I am happy where I am right now.”

For Ali, family must always be on the top of one’s priorities. “It’s always important that you always prioritize family. Throughout the week, we almost make sure to bond and spend time together. Family time is very important to us.”

Ali was part of the hit ABS-CBN teleserye “La Luna Sangre.” “I really enjoying it. I am learning the craft and the whole art of acting.”

The mixed martial arts fighter said he wants to be more of an action star. “I get to showcase my athleticism, ‘yung sport ko na martial arts kaya action ang mas type kong gawin.”

Meanwhile, Cristine said she is not yet retired in doing sexy roles onscreen. “If I still got it why not?”

Ali, at that time, agreed to see more of Cristine’s sexiness onscreen: “Of course. Hindi naman nawala eh. Parang mas nag-bloom pa nga si Cristine eh.”

The family has been tapped as endorsers of Simply Shoes, an affiliate of SM Retail, which is envisioned to be the family shoe store in local communities. The shop opened its first branch at Waltermart Tanauan last September 2014. Today, it has 27 branches across the country.
