Kris: Ask me no questions

Even if she was suffering from a pinched nerve on her left shoulder, Kris Aquino said she had to cut short her bed rest to be among those who cut the ribbon at the inauguration of Anthony Taberna and his wife Rossel’s Ka Tunying restaurant on Timog Avenue, right across from GMA.

“I love the couple,” said Kris. “They are true friends.”

Then, she begged the media guys around, “Please don’t ask me about anything because I might say anything that I can’t remember at hindi ko naman madi-deny. You see, I’ve been taking several kinds of medicines at baka kung ano pa ang masabi ko.”

She must have been referring to her ex-husband James Yap whose girlfriend Michela Cazzola gave birth to a baby boy (named Michael James) Monday last week. Everybody is curious about how Kris felt about it but, so sorry, she’d rather keep mum for now. Michael James is James’ third child, coming after another boy with his non-showbiz girlfriend and Bimby, with Kris.

“It happened Tuesday night after I went home from an uncle’s 82nd birthday,” recalled Kris how the pain started. “Tiniis ko lang until it became migraine. I began throwing up on the way home. My blood pressure went up to 171/108, so I had to call my neurologist.”

Incidentally, Ka Tunying’s is located nearer GMA than ABS-CBN must have spawned the rumor that Kapamilya Anthony is turning Kapuso.

“I am not,” said Anthony who noted that yesterday’s inauguration was graced by guests from all networks. “All Kapamilya, Kapuso, Kapatid, Kasama are welcome,” added Anthony.
